19 year-old Kadeem Walton has been charged with burglary and threatening behaviour and is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court. Two 17 year-old youths who cannot be named for legal reasons have also been charged and are due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court.
Detective Inspector Angus Moir, said "SmartWater has now been placed in a number of premises across the county. Many residents’ properties have items that are SmartWater marked, while many schools, businesses and churches have also taken advantage of marking and spray devices. We are increasingly encouraging its use as it can be a valuable deterrent, useful in the prevention and detection of crime.”
